Unfortunately, it did not work after changing the file name.

the result screen still displayed as follows.
you are <escore> out of 12.
you are <elabel>.

The formula embedded in my excel file seems not to calculate participant's score. Otherwise, 'response' file seems not to be linked to the experiment file.

In fact, the formula is belonged to one que file of the entire 6 que files.

Could you let me get other ways to solve this problem if possible?

Do you only have a single response file named "responses.xls" (without the quotation marks) in the set of files for this MediaLab experiment? Also, do you see any files in your Data folder for this study in a folder named "reports?" If so, please send me a copy of what is in the "reports" folder.

I'm sorry to be a bother, but could you send me a copy of all of the file folders that you have for this experiment? I would like to see what you have for both the program files and the data files. Please just make a copy of all the files as you have them on your computer and put them in a compressed zip folder that you can attach to your reply to this message.

I don't see any responses.xls file among those that you sent me. Are you still using the responses.xls feature or did you change the structure or your study?

Thanks for letting me know where the responses.xls file was. I got the calculated values to display properly by moving the responses.xls file out of the 4 folder and putting it in the same folder with the 123experiments.exp file. Give that a try.

I think I know what the problem is. I had this issue as well. In order to fix it, you should put your SUM variable (escore and elabel) in the cell exactly below the related experimental variables. If you this, the excel file will recognize it and will calculate and return the variable in the participant's screen. But, if you put the calculated variable anywhere else in your response.xls file, like if you put it after all your experimental variables, it will not work. I have checked this several times choosing different cells. I hope MediaLab team fixes this problem in their later versions.
