At the end of my DirectRT trials using a joystick, an error message pops up. I have attached the Track Performance and a specific sample.

It appears from the files that you attached to your previous post that your input file appeared to run just fine in DirectRT and that all of the data recorded. So the only indication that something went wrong was not until after the end of running the input file in DirectRT, yes?
Do you have all of your .bmp files in a folder named Stim? And is that Stim folder in the same program folder as your .csv input file?

Yes, that is correct. We went through our folders and have them straightened out, but the problem still persists. Do you have any other idea of why this might be occurring?
If you open the TrackPerformance.txt file and find both Error 53 and Error 5 notices, it may be due image files in your Stim folder that are not 8-bit depth. DirectRT tends to work with images of an 8-bit depth. You can check this if you right-click your image files, click on Properties, and click on the Details tab.
Thus, you can try changing your .bmp files to have 8-bit image depth. It's not too difficult to do this conversion. Here are the steps, which you can also find in here in the online DirectRT manual (http://www.empirisoft.com/directrt/h...ge_files.htm):
1) Donwload the free program IrfanView at http://www.irfanview.com/.
2) Open Irfanview and open the image that you want to change.
3) From the Image Menu, select Decrease Color Depth.
4) Select 256 colours and save your image.
That should do it! Try it out and see if your DirectRT input file without the error messages.
