Problem with ü (umlaut) when using html-custom items

I programmed a html file with one question per page. For the question text, the item name, and partially the question label, I use variable references. The text is entered in the .que file and entered in the htm-file via the variable reference through MediaLab.
Unfortunately this does not work, when using a German Umlaut (e.g., ü or ä, ö, ß). The Umlaut is not displayed correctly during the MediaLab session. Propably some error of alphanumeric coding between, MediaLab, the html-page and the IE. If you look at the TEMP html-page you see that there is a ü, but it is not displayed correctly in the IE. At least at my PC. When I open the TEMP file in Firefox, the ü is displayed correctly.

This is not a big problem, because the workaround is easy if you don't have to many items, which is the case for me. But I wanted to let you know this bug.

Attached you find everything to hopefully replicate this bug.
