I was wondering if I could run biopac software and medialab software on different computers for the same subject. If so, are there any common problems associated with doing this or is it pretty straight forward?

Can you elaborate a tad? Are you talking about independent MediaLab sessions on independent computers? If so, there wouldn't be any issues I could imagine from the MediaLab end of things.
In our research we will be looking at the physiological reaction of participants to photographs presented through medialab. We want to run these programs on two different computers. It would be very helpful if the programs could communicate with one another so that we are aware of what stimuli is presented when. I hope that helps!
Ohhh.. I see. Yes, you can do this via TTL signals. Try a search on biopac and/or TTL in the Hardware or MediaLab forums. I think this is detailed pretty well some previous thread(s).
