    volume.exe not working with v2012 on Windows 7 64bit (case 22745)

I have followed the instructions to set the volume using item type executable with volume.exe and (c5) in the parameters field but the volume does not change. I am wondering if we need to upgrade to 2014 or something as I cannot get the volume to change for an avi movie which is called in the next line of the questionnaire.

I would be happy to take a look at your files and let you know what I see. Please send me a copy of your .que file with this executable item and a copy of any video files needed to run the .que file in MediaLab. You can either upload them here or send them to me directly at support@empirisoft.com (please reference case 22745)

Please also explain a bit more about your stated goal of trying to "get the volume to change for an avi movie." The use of the c parameter with the executable item you mentioned is to set a consistent volume for playing multiple media files (here in the MediaLab manual: http://www.empirisoft.com/medialab/h...ightsub=volume). Do you have multiple media files that all play at different volumes? If not, and you are trying to only play a single video file, have you tried using a Movie item type (see here in the MediaLab manual: http://www.empirisoft.com/medialab/h...type.htm#movie) or using the Backvideo field in an Instruction item type (see here in the MediaLab manual: http://www.empirisoft.com/medialab/h...ebackvideo.htm)
