    Piping manipulation (case 20127)

Hello all. I'm trying to use medialab 2014 to design a study to manipulate self-efficacy. I try to have to the participant input a number of their performance, and then give them a feedback based on the number they input. For example, I have the participants come up as much usages of an item as possible and write it down on a paper in 5 minutes. After this task, I have them to input the number of usages they come up in this task. I want to give them a feedback to manipulate their self-efficacy by telling them the average number of usages of the last 50 people who have also performed this same task. This average number is based on the number they input in medialab. If the input 10, the feedback is 13.4 which is based on the number they input plus 3.4 . How can I set this up? Thanks.

This might be possible by using the responses.xls feature in MediaLab. Take a look at this section of the MediaLab manual that describes what the responses.xls feature can do and let me know if you have any questions: http://www.empirisoft.com/medialab/h...d_features.htm
