    write data as characters

    Is it possible to write data in MediaLab as characters (i.e. A, B) instead of numbers? The existing output is always numbers, and we have not been able to figure out if we can modify this.

    Yes, you can save recoded values instead of the origional numbers. See "Can I change the values written to the data file?" in the users guide, or online here:
