    computerized string measure (case 10911)

    Hi,

I am looking to create a computerized string measure in my study. Iwant participants to be able to increase the length of a line/bar with thearrow keys. Hitting the right arrow key would increase the length of the line.If the line got to the edge of the screen, the screen would just continue toscroll to the right, essentially allowing for an "infinitely" longline.

    Any ideas would be great.

    Thanks!

The first thing that comes to mind would be to create this task using html and run it as a Custom Item in your MediaLab questionnaire. You can find more information in the Custom Item section of the MediaLab manual; you can view it online here http://www.empirisoft.com/medialab/help/index.html?custom_items.htm.
