Lab upgraded from DRT 2010 to 2014, no files are working

    Hi,

So very recently our lab switched all of our programs from DRT 2010 to 2014, a major upgrade. However, now we can't run any of our input files. Initially, DRT wouldn't run the files by saying that we were missing terminators. However, even after fixing that issue, DRT would run the input file and then later crash and say there was a performance issue (none of the stimuli/pictures we placed in the file would show up). Can you help us? I've attached an input file and screenshots of the error messages. Thank you!

Try removing any backslashes from the file names you use in column G and see if the file runs. Make sure that the actual image files in your stim folder also have the same name without any slashes.

    Still not working

    Hi Jason,

I tried removing the backslashes for all of the stimuli, however it still did not work. Your advice also didn't make sense to me because wouldn't that change the path for the program to pull stimuli? Because if my column G says Instructions/Slide1 and then I remove the backslash then the program won't be able to find Slide1 because it'll be looking for InstructionsSlide1 instead. I also tried removing "Instructions" as well and that didn't work either. Do you have any other advice?

    Thanks!

Could you please also upload a copy of your styles.drt file and a few of your stimli used in the input file you already uploaded? I'd like to see if I can play with them on my computer and get them to work.

Also, it would be helpful if you could send a copy of the TrackPerformance.txt file as well. It will be in the DirectRT program folder, most likely located on the main drive of your computer.

    Re: Topic Review

I've attached the styles.drt, TrackPerformance.txt files and a couple stimuli pictures. I've also re-attached the .csv file that the stimuli are used in for reference. Thanks!
