    Constraining Open-Ended Responses

    Hello,

This may be answered elsewhere, but is there a way to put constraints (aside from specifying a single correct response) on what subjects can enter for open-ended responses?

Basically, I want to limit subjects' responses to integers between 0 and 1000. If this can't be done with open-ended, is there another trick to accomplish what I'm looking for?

    Thanks!

You can, but not for 1-1000. You need to list the valid responses individually--i.e., there is no accomodation yet for numeric ranges or other patterns. There should be--I will add it to the to-do list.
