On-line rating item; slider won't slide (case 3221)

I want participants to make on-line ratings while watching a video. This works fine on my computers with Windows 7 and MediaLab Version 2008.1, but when I try to run the same thing on a Windows XP computer the slider will not slide. The participant can move it, but it snaps back to the starting point and does not collect any data. See simple attached questionnaire.

I don't have the money to upgrade the XP computer at this time. Please help me identify an alternative solution if there is one.

Make sure that the computer with Windows XP is using MediaLab version 2008.1.13. You can find the full version number by opening MediaLab and selecting Help>About MediaLab from the main tool bar.

If you are not using MediaLab version 2008.1.13, you can download and install it from here: http://www.empirisoft.com/download_old.aspx
