Level of Reaction Times (case 426)

    Hello DirectRT community,

When running DirectRT2010 and using key press response, the reaction time is continuously varied like so https://www.dropbox.com/sh/vaw591iea...KkjxO8f/TE.bmp, but when using voice response, reaction times clump together in specific groups, with a lack of responses across ranges of times. In an ordered distribution of reaction times, the voice response experiment creates plateaus of reaction times, like this https://www.dropbox.com/sh/vaw591ieayrln69/k5xloclmJM/Voice.bmp Could DirectRT be sampling only occasionally from the sound card? Or could the sound card be not sampling the microphone often enough? Or perhaps some setting we messed up in DirectRT?

Thank you for any help you can provide,

    Daniel
