How to exit an experiment (case 110)

    Hi,

I am wondering if you can tell me how to exit the program if I am in the middle of running an experiment? I wish it was as easy as clicking "end" or "backspace" on my keyboard, but I do not know what the shortcut is. I need to test and retest my quetions frequently and it is cumbersome to have to go through all the questions each time I want to just exit.

I hope this is a very simple and obvious answer; no shame here in looking like a newbie! I am running Windows 7, FYI.

    Thanks!

It should be Ctrl + Alt + [right arrow].

    Hi there,

Thank you for the suggestion, but unfortunately alt + ctrl + right arrow just changes the orientation of my screen but does not exit the program. Does anyone have any other suggestions?

    Thanks again.

I found that to be able to use the Ctrl + Alt + Right Arrow to quit an experiment in Windows 7, I first had to disable the hot key option or it would just flip my screen.

Yes, screen orientation hot key sequences can take priority over MediaLab's "secret keys". Most systems will allow you to change or deactivate the "screen flipping" key sequences.
