Problem with using "go back" option and skips in survey (case 432)

We have developed a questionnaire that is being used for a large scale cross-sectional study in a health clinic. Approx. 89 people have taken the survey to date. However, we have noticed quite a few problems with skip patterns and the option to "go back" to a previous question.

It seems like the mostly likely explanation is that when a participant goes back to change a response that triggers a skip, Medialab is not appropriately over-writing the responses that they already gave in that section (but does fill in 99 for the remainder of the skipped section).

We are using Medialab 2010. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Colleen Murray (I also left a voicemail on the support line).

If you upload copies of your MediaLab .que and .exp files, I will be happy to take a look at them.
