Direct RT v.2010 is freezing during experiment

    Hi,

After successfully running our experiment with the first three subjects, Direct RT started freezing during random times during the task. We lost one subject's data, as we restarted the task twice, and both times it froze again.

We have tried doing a couple of things to fix this problem, but nothing seems to be working. We are running Direct RT on Windows 7. We are using the latest version of Direct RT.

I've attached the experiment here, if that is at all helpful.

    Thanks,
    Jamie

Is this DirectRT v2010.2? If so, it had some memory issues that caused this freezing issue under certain hardware configurations (as was also the case with DirectRT v2008.2).

A probable fix: DirectRT v2010.3 from www.empirisoft.com/download_old.aspx. Or try the newer v2012 (posted March 1st, 2012) on the main www.empirisoft.com/download.aspx page.

If you are already running v2010.3, then please let me know because that would be unusual to see the occasional freezing problem that v2010.2 had.

PS., If you'll be calling DirectRT v2010.3 from MediaLab, let me know.
