Adjusting speaker volume during a session

    [edited from support email]
In a study we are trying to do, we are showing first video clips then audio clips in the same experiment, but as different questionnaires. However, we do not want the sound on the video clips to be audible. The problem is that we can't mute the computer, because the second part of the study involves audio clips. Is there any way to mute an entire questionnaire, without muting the computer, so that a second questionnaire in the same experiment still has sound?

Check this out and see if it helps:

See the section there called "Adjusting Speaker Volume Automatically During Session".
