We have copied and pasted our MediaLab experiment onto a second computer (along with all of the questionnaire files and the SPSS datafiles) in order to maximize efficiency of data entry. However, we have had difficulty completing the experiment on the second computer (i.e., the program has shut down and the data has been lost twice). Notably, we did not get an error message either of these times. Initially the experiment did not open and it appeared that the file names were inaccurate. I replaced the file names in the Experiment Editor, to ensure the pathways were consistant with where the questionnaire files were actually located on the second computer. The experiment ran after that, but the data was not saved.
Is there a step the we are missing or is it requisite to re-create the experiment on each seperate computer?
Thank you!
Abby
