Hi Baruch,
Runs fine here. What error (if any) are you getting? Or, what else can you tell me about it "not running"?

well -- subject number window opens, i type it and... nothing happens.
but DRT is running (as indicated by task manager).

What version of DirectRT are you using? Also, is there a style file in the same folder as this input file? If so, try deleting it and running it with the default style file (styles.drt) from the main DirectRT folder.
i have version 2004.3.0.27. and i tried without deleting the styles file. still won't budge.
thanks.

Can't tell you because we don't have a debuggable version of v2004 around anymore. If it were me, I would create multiple versions of the file, each with bigs chunks of trials deleted, to see which trial(s) are responsible. e.g., does it run if you try only the first trial? The first 5? 10? 100? etc. If you can find the breaking point then I might be able to help narrow down the problem.

I have encountered the same problem today.
I dont know. The only thing changed in my system is the Uer Profile.
If I use the original User Profile, it runs without any issues. However, if I am trying to run the same input file on a new profile, it does not run. It sits in the background.
I am able to run the sample files on all profiles.
Admins, could this be an issue? Is there any permissions issue?
Just to add... ExecuteDRT.exe runs in the background with almost 100% CPU Utilization.
Version 2006.2.0.24
Thank you.

Try confirming that your user profile has full read-write access to any folder that is involved in your study. That may explain why you can run the samples--i.e., because your profile has read-write access to the DirectRT folder and its subfolders, but not to the folder containing this particular study.
