Hi,
I'm working on running a stroop test (a demo measuring reaction time by asking participants to name the color displayed - it's rather difficult because somethings the text of the color does not match it's visual color) by embedding html pages w/ javascript and jquery within MediaLab. The questionnaire has 100 trials, which run very quickly (because jquery automatically reads each key stoke and attempts to submit it). Though most typical participants take a few seconds to response, I want to make sure this runs smoothly at a rate of about 1 response/1sec.
Sometimes, I'm able to run through all 100 trials with no problem and perfect data recording. Other times, I crash around the 20th trail, and upon restarting, I crash sooner. I then run a completely different questionnaire, return to the stroop test, and it works fine.
This is the error I get when it crashes:

This problem seems sporadic; however, an easy solution may be viable. My first thought is to perhaps try restarting the software after an experiment has run. Have you encountered this error while first running through your experiment after the software's initial launch?
This was my answer:
I've tested it two ways - beginning with the stroop test, and beginning with a different questionnaire, followed by the stroop test. In both setups, the program continues to crash.
I know it's difficult to diagnose because its sporadic. Are there other methods I can run to diagnose the problem?
