    Changing Default Messages

    Hello,
I would like to know how to change the program default messages (e.g., "press <Enter> when you are done"), so I can translate some of them to Hebrew.
I know that on MediaLab you can do it by editing the "messages.txt" file, and saving it as "substitute.txt."
Can you do a similar thing on DirectRT?

    Thanks,
    Oren

DirectRT doesn't really have much in the way of pre-fab messages like MediaLab does. The "press enter when you are done" message you are seeing sounds like it's coming from MediaLab--do you happen to have your DirectRT session embedded within a MediaLab session? If not, could you possibly post the DirectRT .csv input file that is generating this (or other) message?

    Thanks for your reply!
I don't have a program yet - I'm still considering whether to program my experiment on DirectRT and Hebrew compatibility is a serious consideration. Anyway, this message is not supposed to be part of the program (as far as I understand) - It's an example for a default message generated by the program when you ask participants for an open-ended response.
I wasn't planning to embed my session in a MediaLab session, as it is my experience that it is often simpler to use only DirectRT.
Are you saying that if I embed my session in a MediaLab session and change MediaLab's default messages, it will affect the messages shown during the DirectRT session? Is this the only way to do it?
So far, I've tried changing MediaLab's default message file (substitute.txt.)without embedding my session in a MediaLab session, and it didn't make any difference for the messages shown by DirectRT.
