DirectRT generating extra copies of my input file?

    [edited from support email]
For some reason, everytime I run a participant, DirectRT creates a new input file. So, when I run subject number 206 on an input file labeled vig, DirectRT creates the following input file: vig_206. That input file is identical to vig, but with a new name. This is a minor problem but nonetheless is starting to clog up my file folder. Any thoughts?

I'm guessing you have random values being generated in your input file via the rand() function? If so, DirectRT generates all the values required before the session starts, creates a new input file using those values, and then runs that input file. I chose to have DirectRT leave those files there (i.e., as opposed to deleting them as temp files) so that users would have access to the randomly generated values if they wanted them--you can see exactly what was run for that particular subject. So yup, deleting is the way to go, sorry for the clutter!
