I'm putting together a timed recognition task of visual stills from movies. The first go around with creating the stills, I had them in 24-bit color depth and they wouldn't work. DirectRT just presented the name of the file in text format (no identifier in the stim cell- so not a problem there). So, I reduced the color depth and then they played but the quality was pretty awful.

So, I thought maybe I can just decrease the size and it will present a higher quality image. I did that on one picture, and it worked. So, I went about re-doing all of them the same way. When I tried it this morning with all of the redone files, DirectRT still only presented the name of the file in text format. The one that works is actually a little bit larger than the others in kilobytes; the only difference I can see is the pixel width.

Does anyone have any suggestions? I've tried everything I can think of... I've never had a problem before.

Thanks for any help!
