    Playing Movie Files

In DirectRT, I am trying to play a .csv file with videos as stimuli. The videos play fine in Windows Media Player, but in DirectRT, the videos will not play, even when we insert the file names into the sample file provided by DirectRT. The .csv file does run in DirectRT as though it is working, but the videos do not play. But after pressing a key, the stimuli does advance to the next trial. Furthermore, on one computer, the screen was completely black while the file was running. On another computer, a green screen appeared briefly, followed by a still frame from our video. In both cases, the video would not play. Is there a way to fix the problem so that the videos will play? Thank you!

I had the exact same problem. Did you have any luck fixing this?

    Thanks

Most likely this would be a version by hardware interaction. What version of DirectRT are you running (i.e., 20xx.x.x?). Also see http://www.empirisoft.com/support/showthread.php?t=3442.
