Yes, using the cursor.txt feature does help. However, I am having a bit of a problem matching up what participants see on the screen with the response options I've programmed. I would like participants to respond on a 5 x 5 grid with Negativity (0 = not at all, 5 = extremely) on the Y axis and Positivity (0 = not at all, 5 = extremely) on the X axis. I’ve done the programming to make a 5 x 5 response grid using the cursor.txt feature, but it is unclear how one goes about matching the positivity x negativity rating grid/scale to the cursor.txt programming without doing a bunch of trial and error testing.

Hm - I don't quite understand what you mean. Are you having a problem placing an image over the region that you've specified within the cursor.txt file?
Perhaps explain the problem a bit further.
Remember that the ID you specify for each box can help identify what value they selected in reference to the positivity x negativity measurement you're using.
