Run Time Error 13: type mismatch

Every time I try to open the Experiment Editor to create a new experiment with Media Lab, the message "run time error 13: type mismatch" appears and the editor won't open.
Does anyone have an idea what's wrong?

I've exactly the same problem as Katharina. The MediaLab version I'm using is v2008. The peculiar thing is that some computers have that problem while others are working fine.

    Any ideas?

Try this and see if it helps. Make a backup copy of the folder:

    C:\Medialab\Experiment Editor

After making a backup copy, delete the folder and unzip the attached replacement folder. The version attached contains the experiment editor files that comes with the v2008 installation package. If one of the files in your installation has gone missing or has become corrupt, using this replacement folder ought to fix it. If the error persists, then I would suggest uninstalling MediaLab and then doing a fresh installation.
