Melissa, there used to be an option to *not* install the samples and/or help files when initially installing the software. If there is no option to use a tutorial and you can't find the tutorial in the installation directory, I would suggest uninstalling and reinstalling the latest version from the main download page (www.empirisoft.com/download.aspx). As far as I know it shouldn't be a problem because this option is no longer offered. It used to be a way to save disk space when hard drives were much smaller.

    didn't work

Hi, our tech guys tried that (reinstalling the program) but there are still no interactive tutorials anywhere to be found. What should we try next?

Strange. I could log onto your computer from here and take a look--let me know if you would be interested.

    thanks

Thanks for that offer; that would be great. However, I will be gone on medical leave for the next 4 to 6 weeks. Is there a way for me to contact you directly when I get back so we could get that taken care of?

    Thanks
    Melissa

Of course, no problem. Just post here when you get back and I'll receive notification. Also if you like I could check it out with one of your IT people while you are off. Just FYI, assuming you are running v2008.2.103, the files should be located in c:\directrt\components\help. I'm also attaching a zipped version of the help folder that should be located in there.

PS., the attached help folder (see above) there is a shortcut to the help files that points to the main help page:

    C:\DirectRT\Help\HTML\_HelpContents.htm

It should point, instead to :

    C:\DirectRT\Components\Help\HTML\_HelpContents.htm

Note also that the latest (updated) help files will accompany the next release.

Also note that updates help files are available online as well:
