    Audio file and voice response

    Hello,

in my experiment I plan to present an audio file and record a voice response + RT.

The issue I'm having right now is that the voice recording already starts while the audio files are playing and then stops after 5 seconds. When opening the saved voice file in my data folder I saw that DirectRT might have recognized my data file as the first voice response and starts recording from there. Hence all my reaction times are resulting to be almost identical.

How could I fix my problem?
Is it even possible to play the audio file (until it ends) and then record a voice response with a recording of the reaction time for the response after the audio file is fully played?
Hopefully, I expressed my problem understandable?
Did/does anyone have the same problem as me?

Thanks for the help and warm regards
    Christina

    Christina,

What is the command you are using in the time cells to record the voice responses?
