    data questions about directrt

    Hello,

Hi, everyone! I am working in a psychology lab with DirectRT software, and I have a few questions relating to data findings.
I wanted to know how it is possible to put all of the data from all of the subjects into one file. I noticed that DirectRT automatically creates a new data file for each subject that is run (even though each subject does the same input file). I want all of the data from all of the subjects to go into one data file. Looking at the help feature, I saw a data merge option, but although that puts all of the data from all of the subjects together, it only does so in notepad format, and I need it in excel preferably.
Is there any way to set the program so that it automatically/manually saves all of the data from all of the subjects in one master data file?

    thanks!

    data in Directrt

    HI.
All you have to do is open the Merged data file from Excel, and you will be fine.
Be sure to select Delimited by Commas. That is the only trick.
You can also open the merged file from SPSS using the "open a text file" option.
