BGR problem w multiple blocks of trials

    Hi all,

I am using MediaLab v2008.1.11 and have run into trouble with an experiment that has 13 blocks of trials. Each block has a DirectRT task followed by MediaLab questionnaires. One block always needs to go first so there are 12 that need to be presented in a randomized order after that. It seems to work fine when the program draws blocks 1-9 but we run into problems whenever blocks 10-12 are drawn. Basically, the DirectRT task does not come up. We can skip ahead through the MediaLab questionnaires and it will draw the next block in the random order, but it's limiting us not to be able to randomize the blocks completely.

One workaround that I have in mind is to group blocks and use WGR...but that's not ideal from an experimental standpoint. I would really like to be able to randomize everything completely.

Has anybody experienced this problem before and found a solution? Is it a limitation of the software or should I be able to do what I have in mind?

    Thanks,
    David
