Size of MediaLab and DirectRT installations

    [edited from sales email]

My department is considering purchasing MediaLab and they want to know the size of the program. I didn’t see it on the website, so if it is there and you could direct me to it, or just let me know how big it is, I would greatly appreciate it!

When fully installed, MediaLab takes up about 25mb of hard drive space. The installation package is about the same, but that can be deleted after installation or saved onto a CD. You are also welcome to just download it again if you ever need another copy (or an updated version).

In case anyone wants to know about DirectRT, the answer is the same except that when fully installed, DirectRT uses about 55mb on the hard drive.

Note that this applies to every version of Windows (and Mac) except Vista. We are currently working on Vista betas for both programs and the numbers are about double those quoted above.
