    Another Cedrus Response Box Query

    Hi,

    1) We're trying to get DirectRT to receive TTL signals from a Cedrus response box (RB-620) from the serial port (Com1) at a baudrate of 19200.

    2) We think we've determined that the proper codes for the buttons are 126, 123, 119, 111, 95, 125. We got these by starting up hyperterminal, establishing a connection and witnessing characters as we pushed buttons, then doing the IOtest at a port address of 1016. The values above were the ones that appeared in the Monitor Port area.

    3) But, we couldn't get it to work. However, the program runs just fine when we run DirectRT with hyperterminal running in the background. It receives and records the button presses using the codes above. But, it doesn't work when we try to run it without hyperterminal running too. Here's what we have:
    rt:126,123,119,(1016)

    4) We are sending a TTL signal before attempting to receive ones.

    5) When I replace the specific valid codes with "any" it also works fine even when hyperterminal isn't running.

    Any advice?

    Thanks,
    Rich

Thanks for the detailed explanation. Let me see if I can reproduce this in the workshop.
