Viewing data from Media Lab to Excel/SPSS

After running my study, I opened the excel file and it says that I have too many rows in order to view all the information. Is there some way that I could reformat the data before it's automatically saved to excel in order to view all my data?

Also, Media Lab is creating an exhorbitant amount of extra rows in excel by saving one item seven times just because it's a "multiple response" questions. How can I get it to only save the answer that the subject marks, instead of writing a "0" in the ones that weren't marked and a "1" in the one that was marked?

Thanks in advance for the help!
