    missing value not set

    Hello,

I am unable to get the missing value to change from the default of 99. I tried to create a file named missing.txt in the same folder as the experiment file like the manual instructed, but no success.

I've attached test files which show the problem. Please help.

    Thank you,
    Jack Cheng

Never cam across this before. There were some hidden characters in your text file that preceeded the "1111". What program did you use to create it? In any case, I think that it's the UTF-8 format which is causing the problem. Try saving it as ANSI or maybe even Unicode formatted text and see if that helps (i.e., when clicking "save as"). When I did that here (using notepad.exe) MediaLab used the value without a problem.

Changing the encoding fixed the problem. Thanks! Jack
