    pitfalls of standard keyboards

    Hello,

I have a question regarding using regular keyboards for response time experiments with DirectRT. Does anyone know whether the slower response time on a standard keyboard (compared to a retrofiitted one from Epirisoft) results in a constant, random error, or systematic error being added to the recorded response time?

    Thanks

    Hi Kyle,

If you're using a standard USB keyboard, the timing error could be +/- 10 mS.
