run time error '13': type mismatch

I am trying to run an experiment with a secondary task. I always get the error message "run time error '13' type mismatch". I can run the sample files, but whenever i change the probes.csv, I get this error message. I am using Excel 2003 SP3 Professional Edition and Medialab v2006.2.38. Any idea?
    thanks -joh

If you make changes to the sample and then re-open it in Excel, does it appear normal? If so, try comparing the origional and revsied versions in a text editor such as the Windows Notepad. Do they look identical in form?

You were right: Excel always added a couple of quotation marks to the file, which showed in WordPad. Now, as I manipulate the probes.csv file in WordPad, everything works fine. - Thanks!
