Can MediaLab assign Correct/Incorrect to Fill-in-Blanks

Question about MediaLab: For fill-in-the-blank, can I get MediaLab to assign correct=1, incorrect=0 to fill-in-the-blanks? For example: for the word open (_pe_), if they fill in "o""n", then they get 1 point. Can MediaLab do this?

No, currently there is no way to automatically recode open ended questions. You could create a custom item to do this but that would likely be more work than doing the recoding in your analysis syntax.
