    Timestamps for PPS

Hi. I recently tried to install a timestamp to show the onset of my powerpoint shows because we are trying to collect physio data while participants are watching the shows and want to link them up

I tried by putting the timestamp into a questionaire with the item type as pps and tried by putting the pps into an experiment and just setting the timestamp parameter...neither one works.

    Can powerpoints use timestamps?

Should be ok--what version are you using? If you put a timestamps on the preceding and/or following (non-PowerPoint) items, do you get the timestamps ok?

    powerpoint timestamps

I am using Medialab 2006. If I post a timestamp on the other items, yes, it does work. That's why it is strange???

    Timestamps

Actually I don't have the file anymore. I kept revising the same file. I put a "questionnaire" before each powerpoint show with just a blank instructions page that stays on for .5 secs. That way I can record the time of onset of each show as .5 secs after the questionnaire timestamps. Sorry...I needed a quick fix, but thanks.
