Direct RT and Tablet (case 3121)
Guys,
I am trying to conduct research in which I want to use a tablet as a response source ( instead of certain keys from the the keyboard). Specifically, the tablet records participants' writing as well as their reaction latencies. I am just wondering are there any ways that I could achieve this. Please kindly let me know. Thank you.
MediaLab, yes; DirectRT perhaps
Hi. below are a some related posts from this forum on the use of touch screens via PC tablets.

Please let us know if you have made progress in this area. I suspect that it won't be long until many labs will include touch screens, and portable devices that are free of keyboards
Have the tablet abilities been updated?
[SIZE=3][COLOR=#000000][FONT=Calibri]We are looking at using MediaLab and DirectRT in a big study and would like to use tablets if possible. I have read some of the posts indicating that the programs were not yet compatible with touch screen technologies. Has this changed in recent years? We would be using PC tablets.
