Direct RT Beta 2010 problem with Vista

I am trying to run the Beta version of Direct RT 2010 for Vista and get the following error message that pops up in a dialog box:

The title says "ExecuteRT" then within the box it says "Unhandled exception has occurred in your application. If you click Continue, the application will ignore this error and attempt to continue. If you click Quit, the application will close immediately. Then a line below that it says "The specified module could not be found."

When I get this error message I can't do anything because I lose the funtion of my mouse. The only way to get out of it is to ctrl/alt/del to the task manager and end Direct RT. If I need to reinstall Direct Rt can I uninstall it then reinstall using the same code I was sent yesterday? thank you for any help!

Hi Paul,

Sorry for the delay in getting back to you.
It would seem that the software is having a problem recognizing the Managed DirectX component.

In order to remedy this problem you can either download a newer copy of the beta, or complete the following steps (assuming the copy of the beta that you're using is .13 or lower).

1. Press the windows key + R (this will open up the run dialog window).
2. In the dialog box, enter the following (assuming you installed in the default directory):
[B]"C:\Program Files\DirectRT\ManagedDX\DXSetup.exe"
[/B]Include the quotations.
3. Install and walk through the Managed DirectX process in the new window that opens up.

Once this is complete, try re-launching DirectRT.
