Compound Screens: getting a constant scale in the background (case 18248)

I am trying to figure out how to keep a scale on the screen throughout the time that the subject is answering.

There was a post from 2007 that indicated it might be an available feature in the next major upgrade. Is there any way to get a constant background image while running trials yet? I'm using the 2014 version.
