Continuous Vocal Time Series

I am new to the program and have been attempting to set-up an input file for a free recall experiment. Basically, I would like to present the participant with a stimulus (i.e., 4 legged animals) and then record their free responses for 2-3 minutes. I have been able to record the open ended responses for the allotted time (via .wav files) and get the stimulus to appear without a problem, but I am unsure how to set up the input file to keep a running time series of the responses (e.g., 1 for response, 0 otherwise) or some sort of time stamp in the log file so we know when the responses occur. This free recall task is going to be part of a dual task paradigm, so we have to use vocal RT's. We also will be synching this up with a motion capturing system eventually, so grabbing the responses from the .wav files isn't ideal. Any thoughts?
