MediaLab in French

I am planning to run an experiment in French and I was wondering if you might be able to help me change the "Continue-Go Back" graphics from English to French ("Continuez" -- "Retour").

Is it "continuez" and not "continuer"? What is the difference? Please excuse my badly faded grade school french :)

"Continuez" is the imperative form of the verb for the polite "you" (the equivalent of "[you should] continue"), while "continuer" is just the infinitive form of the verb (the equivalent of "to continue"). Although, to be really polite it might be best to say "Continuez, SVP" ("Please
continue")

Ahh. Ok, try these and let me know if they work ok for you. To tell you the truth though, I wasn't [I]completely[/I] sure you were kidding re the SVP. Being born and raised a Canadian boy, it's in my nature to throw a [I]please[/I], [I]thank you[/I], or [I]sorry[/I] in at any opportunity :)

Btw, have you generated a [I]substitute.txt[/I] file yet for french feedback messages and such? If so, please (ha, see!) consider adding it to this thread as an attachment for our other French users.

Thanks a lot for the help on "Continuez" -- "Retour". They seem to work out fine.

As for the substitute.txt in French, I needed to change just a few of the messages, and I've attached the file to this post.

I am running all experiments in Italian and I'd be happy to be able to present the Continue/Go Back graphics in Italian. That would be "Avanti" e "Indietro". Many thanks.
