Running a study off-campus?

I have a senior doing an independent research project on stereotypes about criminals. He wrote a nice little program which is working fine. He wanted to run his study at the police station with some officers as subjects, and he got a laptop to put the program on, but because of the way the site license is written, it will only run on campus. It won't run off campus. Is there any way around this..he could run all the subjects in a day.
