voice answer questions

Hi, I am using Direct RT 2010 alone. I have set my stimuli to appear for a maximum of 10 seconds, but to proceed to the next one if a voice answer is provided.
I did it using MinMax and it works as long as I useonly [I] rt:aud[/I] in my time column.

However, I also need to record the answers. When I do that either using the fixed or the combo method, say I have[I] rt:aud,rec,3000[/I], two things happen:

1. In the reaction time column I don't have the real reaction times as with rt:aud, I get the value I specified for the recording, in this case 3000. Where did they go? I am sure I am misreading something. Do I have to calculate the RT's using the values in other columns?

2. The stimuli are not displayed for a maximum of 10 seconds anymore. Now the program goes to the next one when the specified recording time is reached (3000). I want to record only 3000ms but display the stimuli for a maximum of 10 secs if no answer is provided. Can I do that?
