calling external programs

Hi, I am trying to a program that needs several command line parameters in order to run correctly. How do I add these parameter in the medialab file. I tried placing the paramters both after the filename in the filename section. and in the parameter section. But medialab gives me an error message.

This is the program with the parameters needed to run the program correctly:

"C:\Program Files\PST\E-Prime Runtime\E-Run.exe" /a /s "C:\scripts\t1.ebs"

Any help you could give me would be appreciated.

Pernu--can you run it successfully as a .bat file? If so, you could try entering the name of the .bat file in the file field for the Executable item.

I tried the enter a .bat file and I recieved the following error message:

Current file type is definded in the experiment as 'test.bat.' This file is not recognized as a valid file type. To fix this, edit the current experiment file and be sure that all files have valid three-lettter extensions. See help for details.

Sorry if I wasn't clear or if I'm misunderstanding--It sounds like you might have entered it as an item within an [I].exp[/I] file? It would need to be entered in the Filename field of an [I]Executable[/I] item within a [I].que[/I] file.
