Question at the End of an HTML File

Hi,

I am trying to figure out how to set up questions for which respondents read several paragraphs of text, scroll down, see a question and then select an answer from among 5 answer choices. For the first of these questions, I saved the paragraphs of text and the question a word document as an html file and loaded it so that respondents could scroll down, but I don't know how to set it up so that respondents can see all of this on the same screen as where they select an answer. Please help!

I would also like to know how it is possible to have a scrollable text document displayed simultaneously with scale items. Is it possible to somehow set a pdf as a background item that participants can scroll through while answering scale questions?

Take a look at the custom items section in the user's guide. There are even some samples that illustrate how you can use HTML to create a custom item like these. You could even copy and modify one of them and simply add the text you need at the start. If the content of the HTML is too much to display, a scroll bar should automatically be provided.
