hight of a word document and non integer values for timed items

I´ve two questions:
I would like to use the word document item format for presentations because there are no menu buttons or a toolbar like there is in html. Partisipants should not be diverted by these buttons. But I´ve problems with the[/COLOR][COLOR=Black] hight of the word document. It´s to small. I tried to change the desktop resolution (from 1280 x 800 to 800 x 600) then word was correct, but fuzzy and all other formats where to big. Can I specify Parameters or options in the word document for an adequate hight or what else could I do?

The second question aims at the duration for timed items. Is there a possibility to present an image for 1,5 seconds?
