Scale Response Problem URGENT

Hi!
So my goal here is to have participants rate about 50 pictures on two scales.
I would like both scales on one page (placed under the picture presented). However, each scale has a picture attached to it (because each number on the scale is represented by a picture).
So far I have been able to use scale response and background image to place the picture and ONE scale on each page. I really need both scales on one page. Is there any way that I can do this with custom items? I've been having trouble figuring out the HTML for this so I tried avoiding it but it looks like that's not an option.

As you've noted, the only way you'll be able to complete this task is if you tap into the power of custom items. Custom items will have the ability to execute this task quite well. First, I would recommend you start off by trying to understand how the software's custom item samples work:

In the above link you can find resources that are already made available to help you with this task. For the most part, you may end up having to do a smaller portion of work (than originally perceived) to get your experiment up and running exactly as you want it.
