Old QUE files showing up empty

When I try to open a questionnaire file, it shows up as empty. The lines of the questions have no info in them whatsoever. This is very odd as the file has not been touched since it's been run, and it says its 62kb (for example) in size. So - there should be something in there, but it is showing nothing.

I'm not sure which version I am working with and whether this is part of the problem. The version says 2004.1.12 but also says "2006" on the left side of the logo. I don't know if they automatically updated us here or not, though I know they did buy the 2006 license.

Yes, I can open them fine here. Try updating your machine with the latest release of the 2006 version in case something has gone wrong with your installation. Either that or copy the file mxedit.exe off of another machine to get a more recent version of the editor which is currently at 2006.2.2
