positioning the background image and buttons

Hi there

I am using medialab v2004 and am trying to position the scale response buttons beneath the background image. Any advice on how to do this?

My image is about the width of the empirisoft page and I have seven buttons on my scale.

It would seem that you want to be able to move to different questions in the same way that a scale response allows; however you don't actually want the scale responses to be visible - is this correct?

This issue can become a tad complicated - using MediaLab's advanced features may help solve the problem; however that route may be a bit of an overkill for what you're trying to do.

Do you have access to DirectRT?

I can see what Trevor is saying, but by "beneath", do you mean [I]vertically[/I] beneath (e.g., the buttons are lower than the bottom of the image) or [I]proximally[/I] beneath (e.g., the buttons are behind the image). If the former, then you can use the [I]w[/I] parameter to nake the scale run horizontally and the [I]t[/I] parameter to move it downward. e.g., (p7,w.8,t.7) to make a 7pt scale appear horizontally and to move it to 70% of the way from the top of the screen.
